Uzbekistan's reserves have reached an unprecedented level

Uzbekistan's gold and foreign currency reserves have once again broken a historic record. According to the Central Bank, as of March 1, 2026, the country's international reserves reached $77.086 billion. This is approximately $2 billion more than on February 1.

The growth of reserves was mainly influenced by the gold factor. According to Central Bank statistics, the total value of gold reached $67.67 billion, and its physical volume reached 13.1 million troy ounces. At the same time, convertible foreign currency reserves were recorded in the amount of $8.837 billion.

As can be seen from the report, the increase in the value of gold was one of the main factors that pulled up total reserves. The volume of foreign securities also amounted to about 1.54 billion dollars.

In short, Uzbekistan's reserves have reached a new peak. The main "locomotive" here is gold: when prices rise, the mood in statistics suddenly opens up.
