According to the National Statistics Committee, this figure indicates the active development of the light industry in the country.
By region, the highest result was recorded in the Andijan region, where products worth 1.8 trillion soums were manufactured.
Thus, Andijan was noted as the absolute leader in the republic.
The following positions are held by the Tashkent region with 524.6 billion soums and the Namangan region with 438.6 billion soums.
Clothing worth 371.4 billion soums was produced in the Fergana region, while Tashkent city accounted for 310.3 billion soums.
Among other regions, the Samarkand region produced goods worth 158 billion soums, the Bukhara region 117.4 billion soums, and the Kashkadarya region 89 billion soums.
The lowest indicators were recorded in the Surkhandarya region at 10.4 billion soums and the Jizzakh region at 19.3 billion soums.
