Study: Which men cheat more?

Study: Which men cheat more?

According to a recently published study, certain categories of men are much less likely to remain faithful to their spouses. This was reported by Peopletalk.

According to the results of the analysis conducted by the Institute for Family Studies, men in leadership positions — such as CEOs, surgeons, and doctors — as well as unemployed men, are more likely to cheat.

The author of the study, Wendy Wang, analyzed General Social Survey data and found that at least 18 percent of men in leadership positions had cheated on their wives.

In addition, it was found that unemployed men aged 25 to 54 are also more prone to extramarital affairs. Almost one in five of them had already cheated on their spouse.

Experts believe that unemployed men, or those financially dependent on their wives, feel inadequate and insecure. This situation often pushes them to seek satisfaction elsewhere. Therefore, they are more often counted among “cheaters.”
