In Uzbekistan, over 45 thousand families divorced in 2024. Unfortunately, 54 percent of these divorces were caused by — "incompatible character." This statistic shows one truth: forming a family is not just love and a wedding, but how compatible the worldview and approach to life of two people are. However, the choice is often left to the discretion of the elders, resulting in the real needs of the youth being overlooked. Therefore, changing the approach to reduce divorces is an important task.
For the foundation of a strong family, girls should pay attention to 6 golden criteria:
1. Behavior and Conscience
Behavior and conscience should come first. A good, responsible, and guy who values you is the foundation of a family. Conversely, it is difficult to lead a peaceful life with a man who always speaks with anger, is controlling, and is prone to abuse.
2. Support
The situation in a family is not always good. A girl should choose a guy who will not abandon her in a difficult time, but will stand by her, saying, "Your problem is my problem."
3. Emotional Stability
If the candidate disappears without a trace for a day or two a week, "vanishes" silently when upset, or has the habit of "taking revenge" — this is a dangerous signal. Such a relationship slowly destroys the spiritual life of the girl.
4. Worldview Compatibility
Worldview compatibility is the beginning of peace in the family. Making a choice based only on external appearance or romance is a big mistake. Ask yourself: "Do we want the same things from life?"
5. Attitude towards Family
The guy's attitude towards his mother and sisters is a true mirror of his attitude towards his future wife. Inquiring about this means knowing your tomorrow.
6. Financial Responsibility
Stability holds a greater place than wealth. His working, striving for development, and sense of responsibility are important criteria. Wealth is not mandatory, but he must take responsibility seriously.
Most importantly, girls should be taught not "how to choose a husband", but "to understand their values." A woman who knows her worth will not rush, will not ignore the negative signs in the candidate. Reminder: "He will change after the wedding" — this is nothing more than a myth. Result: 30+ points – family building can be planned; 20–29 points – further observation is required; less than 20 points – there is a ** serious danger** in this relationship.
