It was necessary to combat the tragic situation that occurred in the Yakkasaroy district of Tashkent. on July 25, at around 06:40 AM, a 15-year-old girl climbed onto the balcony of a nine-story building and attempted to commit suicide. The preventive inspector, with focused and precise actions, managed to save her life. The incident took place on the balcony of a multi-story building.
The girl, planning to jump, was helped, and police officers and inspectors arrived at the scene. The preventive inspector tried to persuade the girl, and within a few minutes, he was working to save her. According to the inspector, he acted cautiously regarding her psycho-emotional state and, with patience and determination, managed to convince her to come down.
One of the locals contacted the law enforcement agencies, and police officers arrived at the scene soon after. According to the inspector, it took nearly half an hour to convince the girl to come down, considering her severe emotional state. He mentioned that the girl was under stress, and he managed to give her helpful advice to overcome it.
At that point, a colleague of the inspector asked for his belt, as his own was insufficient for the rescue. With the help of the provided belt, they were able to get the girl safely off the balcony.
Emergency responders from the Ministry of Emergency Situations also arrived at the scene in time to help save the girl’s life. She was handed over to medical personnel, underwent a check-up, and psychologists spoke with her to provide the necessary support.
This incident left a significant impact on the girl’s family, and they expressed their gratitude to the law enforcement officers who saved her.
