In the Fergana region, the chief specialist of the territorial inspection for control in the field of construction and housing and communal services was detained with a bribe. Official agencies announced this.
It turned out that, using his official powers, he promised to prepare documents for the registration of unfinished buildings on an area of 4 sotkas in the Kuva district through his acquaintances working in the cadastral and architectural departments. In return, he demanded $5,000.
During an operational event conducted jointly by the State Security Service and Internal Affairs officers, the chief specialist was caught red-handed while receiving $1,000 in advance.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against him under part 3 of Article 25, 168 and part 1 of Article 28, 211 of the Criminal Code. During the pre-trial investigation, a preventive measure of detention was applied to the accused.
