On October 9 of this year, a meeting on the topic "Combating corruption is the duty of us all" was held at the Khorezm regional department of the Compulsory Enforcement Bureau under the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the participation of young specialists, their parents, heads and staff of the department's structural branches and district (city) divisions.
At the meeting, employees were introduced to the main concepts of the "Code of Ethics" for staff of prosecutorial bodies, approved by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including the inadmissibility of self-promotion, ostentation in professional activity, abuse of authority, as well as bribery and corruption.
In addition, the essence of the Law "On Combating Corruption" was once again explained to the staff, and participants were provided with detailed information about the measures taken under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan for fraud, taking or giving bribes, and complicity.
Measures in this direction are being continued.
