The sale of illegal electronic tobacco products has been stopped in the Uchtepa district. During an operational event conducted by the Uchtepa District Department of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office, "H." It was discovered that tobacco products without excise stamps were being sold at the retail outlet belonging to the LLC.
It was established that the shop seller B.E. was detained while selling one electronic cigarette of foreign production to a customer for 320,000 soums. During the inspection of the store, 880 units of 18 types of non-excisable goods with a total value of more than 76.7 million soums were found and seized as material evidence.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 186-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (illegal circulation or production of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and tobacco products), and an investigation is currently underway.
