Individuals involved in the illegal drug trade in Jizzakh and Samarkand regions have been exposed. This was officially reported by the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes.
During an operational event in the city of Jizzakh, two citizens born in 1993 were detained while selling 400 "Misoprostol" tablets, 139 capsules, 2 balms, and 26 packaging boxes without proper permits for 5,000 US dollars.
In addition, a clandestine workshop operating in a women's fitness club was discovered, where various medicines were manually packaged and prepared for sale. Thousands of empty capsules, packaging equipment, fake halograms, and barcodes were processed from the facility.
Also in Samarkand, a person engaged in illegal activity was exposed. A man born in 1998, a manager of an LLC engaged in pharmaceutical products, was detained while selling 9,800 units of drugs containing psychotropic substances, imported by bypass routes from Kyrgyzstan, for 25 million soums.
Currently, a pre-investigation check is being conducted on these facts.
