A traffic incident that occurred in Khorezm has taken another young life, local sources reported. In the video circulating on social networks, a Gentra car moving at high speed is seen hitting a pedestrian.
According to the information, the incident took place on November 10 at the 11th kilometer of the D221 highway passing through the “Tagan” neighborhood of the Yangiarik district. The 37-year-old driver of a Lacetti, while driving, hit a pedestrian who was crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing.
Although immediate medical assistance was provided to the girl born in 2009, it was not possible to save her life.
Regarding the incident, a criminal case has been initiated in the Yangiarik district Department of Internal Affairs under Article 266 of the Criminal Code, and pre-investigation procedures are currently ongoing.
