A terrible traffic accident that occurred on November 15 in the city of Samarkand took the life of one person. According to the regional Road Traffic Safety Department, the incident happened at 14:05 in the “Al-Khorazmi” neighborhood, at the intersection of Nodirabegim and Chulpon streets.
According to the report, the driver of the Damas-2 vehicle, while attempting to turn left, did not follow the rules and failed to yield to the Onix car approaching from the opposite direction. As a result, a strong collision occurred between the two vehicles.
As a consequence of the accident, two passengers in the Damas were taken to the hospital. Despite the doctors’ efforts, one of them died in the hospital from the injuries sustained.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident, and initial investigative actions are being carried out.
