Uzbek citizen suspected of terrorism in the US

A 31-year-old Uzbek citizen, Axror Bozorov, has been arrested in the United States on suspicion of terrorism. According to the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Bozorov illegally entered the country but was still granted an official work permit. He even obtained a commercial truck driver's CDL license in Pennsylvania.

Reportedly, Bozorov was wanted in Uzbekistan since 2022 for suspected links to a terrorist organization and for promoting jihadist ideas online. Despite being internationally wanted, he managed to receive legal employment in the US, sparking criticism.

ICE stated that Bozorov was detained on November 9, 2025, while driving a truck in Kansas. An official investigation into the case is currently underway.
