Uzbekistanis subjected to violence and forced labor in Russia will receive free assistance

Free assistance will be provided to citizens of Uzbekistan who, while working in the Russian Federation, face financial difficulties, become homeless, and are subjected to forced labor or violence. This was reported by the Migration Agency. The agency notes that this assistance is very important for Uzbeks working in Russia, since many migrants will not have the opportunity to return to their homeland when they face financial or social difficulties.

In total, cooperation agreements were signed with 15 hostels and hotels in Moscow and the Moscow region. Based on these contracts, citizens who apply for assistance will be provided with free accommodation for up to 30 days. Applicants will be provided not only with accommodation, but also with assistance in meeting basic needs. This opportunity will be a great help for citizens who have worked in Russia, lost their place of residence, and found themselves in difficult conditions.
