A person was detained in Tashkent for trying to sell 22 live ammunition for $1,300

In Tashkent city, a man who attempted to sell combat ammunition was detained. This was officially reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the information, during оператив operations carried out in the Chilanzar district, a citizen born in 2001 was detained while selling 22 rounds of combat ammunition with a caliber of 5.45 millimeters to a buyer for 1,300 US dollars. The physical evidence was seized and documented in accordance with established procedures.

During inspections, it was determined that the detained individual had previously worked as an explosives driver in a military unit in the Surkhandarya region. It is also reported that he purchased the ammunition for 10 million soums from a military serviceman with whom he had worked earlier.

Based on this incident, a criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and investigative procedures are currently ongoing.

It is recalled that earlier reports also mentioned suspicious incidents related to explosives and weapons in various regions.
