A criminal case has been officially opened regarding the video of the Uchtepa scandal

After the video of a sharp argument between the driver and a group of citizens spread on social networks, the capital's Main Department of Internal Affairs gave an official comment on the situation. According to the report, the incident occurred on February 9th of this year in the Yusuf Sakkokiy neighborhood of Uchtepa district.
It is noted that a verbal dispute was initiated between the driver of the Isuzu truck, N.A., born in 2001 (passengers - Kh.N., born in 2005), and citizens - S.S., born in 1993, O.S., born in 1990, S.A., born in 2006, and A.A., born in 2008. Later, this dispute went out of control and escalated into a quarrel.
The most serious aspect is that during the fight, a passenger in a truck, X.N., struck the head of citizen O.S. with an iron object, resulting in bodily injury. That is, the issue went beyond the level of a simple "argument" and turned into violence.
In connection with the situation, the Investigative Department under the Department for Coordination of Activities of the Internal Affairs Bodies of the Uchtepa district initiated a criminal case under Article 277 ("Hooliganism") of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The suspects were detained in procedural order.
Currently, the investigation is ongoing. Law enforcement agencies are investigating all the details of the incident, the causes of the conflict, and the legal assessment of the actions of each participant. In short, the video wasn't released for hype - the case is being officially reviewed within the legal framework.
