President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the military unit during his trip to Surkhandarya region.
The large-scale reforms being carried out in the country's defense system are becoming an important factor in further enhancing the combat potential of the troops and the activities of military-administrative sectors.
In this unit, all conditions have been created for improving the combat readiness of military personnel. Educational buildings, a dining hall, a dormitory, rooms for spirituality and enlightenment, and a sports town are equipped with the most modern technology and equipment.
Currently, artificial intelligence, robots, missiles, drones, and their countermeasures are widely used in various regional conflicts. Based on this, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief set the task of creating new units in the troops to combat drones and anti-drones, the use of cyber structures working with artificial intelligence, robotic equipment, and air defense.
Systematic work is being carried out in this direction, the national army is being equipped with modern weapons.
The Head of our state inspected the conditions created in the military unit, military equipment and weapons, including modern air defense systems.
It was emphasized that when determining the priorities for the development of the national army, it is necessary to take into account the peculiarities of modern armed conflicts, existing threats to our security, and the theater of military operations.
Relevant instructions were given to officials to consistently continue the implementation of the tasks set for increasing the potential and strengthening the material and technical base of the Armed Forces, and improving the readiness of personnel.
