Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Turkey's president

Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul. During the conversation, the sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev were conveyed to the Turkish leader. The parties emphasized that the fraternal ties between the two countries serve as a solid foundation for cooperation in all areas.
During the visit, Bakhtiyor Saidov also held separate negotiations with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. The meetings included a detailed exchange of views on the complex situation in the Middle East and its impact on regional security.
In addition, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan participated in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States. The agenda included issues of countering regional and global security threats and strengthening solidarity among Turkic states. The Uzbek side reaffirmed its support for all initiatives aimed at deepening practical cooperation within the organization, ensuring stability, and developing connectivity.
