Aftermath of heavy rain: Oncology center in Tashkent flooded
Heavy rainfall in Tashkent led to an emergency situation on May 3, as rainwater flooded the territory of the Children's Oncology and Hematology Center in the Chilonzor district. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that officials quickly arrived at the scene to manage the situation, and special equipment was deployed to remove the accumulated water. By 9 PM, the effects of the flooding had been completely addressed, and the center resumed its operations, with experts emphasizing the need for additional measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
An emergency situation occurred in Tashkent due to heavy rainfall. On May 3, rainwater flooded the grounds of the Children's Oncology and Hematology Center located in the Chilanzar district of the capital.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, officials arrived at the scene immediately after receiving reports of the incident, and the situation was brought under full control.
Specialized equipment was deployed to remove the accumulated water from the area. Center staff also actively participated in the cleanup efforts.
According to official reports, as a result of the rapid response measures taken, the consequences of the flooding were completely eliminated by 9:00 PM.
At present, the center's operations have been restored, and experts emphasize the need to implement additional measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
