100 citizens are being sent on Hajj pilgrimage for free

At the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, 100 citizens are being sent on the Hajj pilgrimage for free this year as "Presidential Pilgrims." This noble initiative is seen as a sign of great respect and attention toward individuals who have served the people, society, and the development of various fields for many years.
It is reported that the free Hajj vouchers are being ceremoniously presented to their recipients in various regions. This was reported by the "O‘zbekiston 24" TV channel. It is noted that the recipients include everyone from ordinary workers to representatives of science, medicine, public service, and the religious sector.
Homidjon Ishmetbekov, First Deputy Chairman of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, stated that the list includes individuals deemed worthy who have dedicated their lives to serving the country and the people. According to him, this event holds a unique significance in the history of Uzbekistan.
"Our esteemed President is sending 100 worthy individuals who have spent their lives serving our country and people on the Hajj pilgrimage this year. Since the inception of Uzbekistan, we have never seen such an event," said Homidjon Ishmetbekov.
He also noted that the recipients of the free Hajj vouchers represent various layers of society. It was mentioned that ordinary cleaners, employees, scientists, healers, doctors, and relatives of those who worked in the religious sector during difficult times are also embarking on this journey.
This aspect further enhances the spiritual significance of the initiative. For many Muslims, the Hajj is a lifelong dream and a deep-seated intention. Providing such an opportunity to those who have served the people demonstrates that their hard work, patience, and dedication are valued.
As a reminder, 15,000 pilgrims from Uzbekistan are heading to the Hajj this year. Flights to Medina are being operated from 9 airports across the country from May 2 to May 18.
For reference, the cost of the Hajj pilgrimage this year is set at 77 million soums. From this perspective, sending 100 citizens for free as "Presidential Pilgrims" is undoubtedly a source of great joy, spiritual encouragement, and an unforgettable event for them and their families.
In short, this initiative is an important step toward honoring those who have served the people, valuing their years of labor, and fulfilling their noble dreams. We wish our citizens embarking on the Hajj that their prayers be accepted, their journey be blessed, and their memories be bright.
