Super League. The dates of the 1st-2nd rounds of this year's season have been announced

On February 1, the draw for the new season of the Super League was held. On February 4, Pakhtakor entered the Elite Champions League.

The league announced in October last year that this season would start on March 7. The exact dates of the first two rounds depended on Pakhtakor's international performance, as well as the Uzbek national team's training camp in March. After all, if Pakhtakor is to qualify for the Champions League round of 16, it will have to play two international matches in the first two weeks of March. The UFA also contacted the League and asked it not to postpone some matches from the second round to FIFA Day.

When setting the date, the league decided to start the season with a match involving Pakhtakor, based on the club's possible qualification to the next round. The match with the club's opponent in the second round, OKMK, also fell on March 7. The remaining 6 matches were divided into weekends.

The proposal of the UEFA was also taken into account when determining the second round matches. March is an important month in the future fate of the national team. It was not possible to make a final decision only on the date of the OKMK - Pakhtakor match. If Pakhtakor qualifies for the next round in the Champions League, it will play the second round of the Super League on March 16. If the club fails to achieve the desired result in the match with Al-Sadd, this match will be held on March 14.

The league is also developing a calendar after the FIFA days in March. This should also take into account the club competition that CAFA may hold.
