Roma Clinches Victory Over Athletic with Shomurodov’s Late Goal: Fans React

On March 7, Roma hosted Athletic Bilbao in the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16.

The first half ended goalless, but early in the second half, the visitors took the lead through Iñaki Williams. Roma responded quickly, with Angeliño equalizing in the 56th minute.

Then, in dramatic fashion, Eldor Shomurodov scored the winning goal in the 90+3rd minute!

As a result, Roma secured a crucial 2-1 victory.
