The former striker of CSKA criticized the team's current offensive line

The former striker of CSKA criticized the team's current offensive line
Former CSKA Moscow player Valery Masalitin expressed his opinion on the current state of the club, especially sharply criticizing the work of the attacking line.

According to him, CSKA forwards are completely devoid of mutual understanding and cooperation on the field. This negatively affects the team's results.

"I think that CSKA's biggest problem today is the unreliable actions of the attacking line. The forwards absolutely do not feel the game with each other. They should complement each other, but in practice this is not visible," said Masalitin.

Citing the examples of leading European clubs, he noted that in strong teams, forwards understand each other very well. The best example of such cooperation in Russian football is the duo of Serdar Azmoun and Artem Dzyuba.

“In Russia, an example of an ideal understanding between strikers is Dzyuba and Azmoun. They felt each other very well on the field. As a result, they scored many goals. I would like to see such an attacking tandem formed in CSKA,” the former player emphasized.

According to Masalitin, the strikers should actively participate in the rhombus system introduced by CSKA head coach Marko Nikolic, support each other and strengthen the game.

“If the CSKA team wants to achieve high results, the strikers in the rhombus scheme must be closely connected with each other. At the moment, this important aspect has not yet been established,” Masalitin concluded.

There is no doubt that solving problems in the attack line is one of the most important tasks for CSKA today. Whether this issue will be resolved soon or not - time will tell.
