Maksim Shatskikh is officially the head coach of Andijan - a new page is opening in Uzbek football!

One of the most famous and beloved football stars of Uzbekistan, Maxim Shatskikh, who once won the hearts of all fans with his brilliant performances for the national team, has been appointed as the new head coach of the Andijan football club. This was announced by the club's official press service.

It should be recalled that after the previous head coach of the Andijan club, Alexander Khomyakov, resigned from his post, the team's management urgently began searching for a suitable candidate for this important position. After several days of intense negotiations, the club's officials and Maxim Shatskikh reached an agreement, and the experienced specialist took over the management of the team.

It is no secret that Shatskikh's football career left a special mark on the history of Uzbek football. He was recognized not only in Uzbekistan, but also on international stages as a high-level striker. However, after completing his football career, Maxim Shatskikh began to show himself as a coach and achieved significant success in this area.

Maxim Alexandrovich's first steps in coaching began in 2016 with the youth teams of Dynamo Kyiv. He first worked in the club's U17 team, and later in the U19 team, transferring his knowledge and experience to the younger generation of players.

From June 2017 to August 2019, Maxim Shatskykh worked in the coaching staff of Alexander Khaskevich in the main team of Dynamo Kyiv, where he demonstrated his high coaching potential and gained extensive experience.

From December 2019 to March 2021, he worked effectively with Alexander Khaskevich in the Russian club Rotor (Volgograd), once again demonstrating his unique approach and knowledge as a coach.

Maxim Shatskykh's return to Uzbekistan in the summer of 2022 caused a huge stir in the country's football. He first worked at Pakhtakor as a sports director, and later took the position of head coach, and during this time the "lions" team won the Uzbek championship twice, earning great applause from the fans. Until then, Shatskikh had been working at Pakhtakor as an advisor to the club chairman.

A specialist with the highest UEFA category - Pro license, he will now work to improve the prospects of Andijan and bring it to the top of the national championship. Maxim Shatskikh will officially start his work at his new club on May 14, and his debut match will be held on May 17 away against Shurtan.
