Uzbekistan freestyle wrestlers take 3rd at Asian U-17 Championship

Uzbekistan’s freestyle wrestlers finished third at the Asian U-17 Wrestling Championship, Nova24.uz reported citing the National Olympic Committee.

On the final day, junior freestyle events took place, where Uzbek athletes won 2 silver and 3 bronze medals:

Silver:
. 51 kg — Ulugbek Rashidov
. 55 kg — Abdumalik Jaloliddinov

Bronze:
. 45 kg — Mirjalol Mukammilov
. 48 kg — Shahobiddin Nurmanov
. 60 kg — Fakhriddin Nasriddinov

Overall, Uzbekistan’s U-17 freestyle team secured 1 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze medals, placing third in the team standings.

In all wrestling styles, the national team won a total of 5 gold, 7 silver, and 12 bronze medals in the youth category.
