The situation around the football club "Navbahor" has been becoming increasingly tense and worrying in recent weeks. The main issue troubling the team's fans is that the matter of debt to Uzbek footballers has still not been resolved.
According to the head of the Uzbekistan Footballers’ Association, Kamoliddin Murzoev, due to this problem, the summer transfer window for "Navbahor" was opened conditionally. That is, the club guaranteed to settle its debts by the set deadline, namely by August 10. If these funds are not paid, the club had agreed in advance that the licenses of the newly registered players would be automatically revoked.
— This is not just a contract or a written commitment, but a strict procedure set out in football regulations, — said Murzoev. — Today, the next meeting of the committee on player transfers and status will take place. It will consider the matter of licenses for Navbahor’s new squad. If the debt is not resolved, in addition to the licenses being annulled, the next step could be the deduction of points.
It should be reminded that today, in the 18th round of the Super League, "Navbahor" will play against "Andijan" at the Bobur Arena. However, more than the on-field clash, what is being discussed are the club’s financial circumstances and official decisions regarding it.
If this problem is not solved soon, it could seriously affect not only whether the new players stay in the team, but also the club’s overall results for the season. The fans are living with one question: can the management turn its verbal promise into real action?
