After the 4th round of the Elite Asian Champions League (ACL), the teams' chances of advancing to the next stage have been announced. According to the Opta analytical center's calculations, two Saudi Arabian giants - Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli - will almost guaranteed to advance to the playoff stage. Their potential is estimated at 100%.
At the same time, the situation is quite difficult for the "Nasaf" team, which represents Uzbekistan. The Qarshi team is in last place in the group, and their chances of making it to the top 8 are only 14%. This is the lowest result among all clubs participating in the West Asian region.
The "dragons," led by Ro'ziqul Berdiyev, lost all four games of the tournament. They missed opportunities against their opponents in a number of situations, and errors in defense and ineffective attacks seriously affected the result. Therefore, only a theoretical possibility remains for Nasaf to advance to the next stage.
Today, Opta analysts consider Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli to be the main favorites of the tournament. "Al-Wahda" (99.9%) and the Iranian team "Traktor" (99.7%) also qualified for the next stage. At the same time, the UAE clubs "Shabab Al-Ahli" (98%) and "Al-Ittihad" (99%) are also most likely to exit the group.
Below are the West Asian region clubs' chances of reaching the playoffs:
- "Al-Hilal" - 100%
- "Al-Ahli" - 100%
- "Al-Wahda" - 99.9 percent
- "Traktor" - 99.7%
- "Shabab Al-Ahli" - 98%
- "Al-Ittihad" - 99%
- "Sharjah" - 58 percent
- "Al-Garafa" - 27%
- "Al-Sadd" - 22%
- "Ash-Shorta" - 28 percent
- "Nasaf" - 14 percent
Analysts believe that while Nasaf has a very low chance of advancing to the next stage, in practice, the opportunity hasn't been lost yet. If victory in the remaining two rounds is combined with a setback from the opponents, the opponents may still manage to reach the playoff train.
Therefore, the next round will be a decisive test for Nasaf fans. Ro'ziqul Berdiyev's players will now have to compete not only on the field but also with confidence in their hearts.
