The General Secretary of the Russian Football Union (RFU), Maksim Mitrofanov, explained the reason why a friendly match between the Russian national team and Argentina will not take place. Earlier, it was reported that this match could occur in November, but it became known that Argentina demanded approximately 5 million euros for such a friendly game.
"Is Angola paying a large amount of money for the game with Argentina? We could have been in their place too.
However, we consider the demanded amount unreasonable," said Mitrofanov in an interview with "Sport-Express." According to Sport News Africa, Angola is allocating 12 million euros for a game with Argentina.
In November, the Russian national team will play two BetBoom matches: against Peru on November 12th and against Chile on November 15th. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
