The VI Islamic Solidarity Games, ongoing in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, have entered its decisive stages. Among the many athletes representing our country in this prestigious competition, the participation of Aziza Mamurova, who is proud of Muay Thai, also attracted the attention of fans.
Competing in the -55 kg weight category, Aziza struggled with preparation, character, and enthusiasm, reaching the semi-finals. At this stage, he fought against a representative of the UAE. In the fiercely contested match, the victory went to the opponent, but Aziza's display of will was met with applause from all the spectators.
With this result, Mamurova finished the competition in third place and won a bronze medal. This result is considered not only his personal achievement, but also another career achievement of the national Muay Thai school.
