Liverpool issues ultimatum to Konate

Liverpool Football Club is urgently calling on defender Ibrahima Konaté to agree to a new contract. The French player's current contract is set to expire at the end of the season, but the club management has so far failed to persuade him to sign a new deal.

According to Caught Offside, Liverpool has reportedly informed Konaté that if he does not agree to an extension soon, he will be placed on the transfer list. The club is keen to finalize the future of the 26-year-old central defender as quickly as possible.

If necessary, Liverpool will begin searching for a replacement. The club is already focusing its attention on Crystal Palace defender Marc Guéhi, whose contract is also set to expire next summer.
