Enzo Maresca: Disasi Not Yet in the Starting Lineup


Chelsea defender Axel Disasi has not yet appeared in the starting lineup this season. Team head coach Enzo Maresca shared his thoughts on the matter.

"I have said several times that Disasi and Sterling are Chelsea players. Axel is currently helping the second team and supporting young players.

During the international break, he trained with the main squad only once. Now, he is assisting the second team and continuing his career as a Chelsea player," Maresca said during Friday's press conference.

At the moment, Chelsea is in third place in the English Premier League standings.
