Former Real Madrid player Steve McManaman shared his opinion on the future of Liverpool head coach Arne Slot. His comments came after the team's 4-1 defeat to PSV in a UEFA Champions League match.
"It is too early to think about resignation right now. For that to happen, it would require being eliminated from the Champions League and sitting at the lower end of the Premier League table.
Liverpool will face Arsenal in January. At that point, the situation can be assessed more clearly," the Daily Mail quoted McManaman as saying.
After 12 rounds in the English Premier League, Liverpool is in ninth place in the standings with 18 points, trailing league leaders Arsenal by 11 points.
