Competing in the major tournament hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada, Uzbekistan's national team has been placed in Group “K.” The competition in this group is intense: Portugal and Colombia are included, both recognized as giants in world football. The third opponent will be determined through the playoff stage — either Jamaica, New Caledonia, or the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

When will Uzbekistan debut?
Uzbekistan’s first match in the World Cup is scheduled for June 18 in Mexico against Colombia. This game could potentially determine not only the group’s destiny but also set the tone for the team’s overall mood in the tournament.
On June 23, the national team will face a highly anticipated challenge against Portugal. The final group stage match will take place on June 27 in the United States against the team emerging from the playoffs.
