
From January 16 to February 1 this year, the most prestigious classical chess tournament — “Tata Steel Chess 2026” — will take place in Wijk aan Zee, the Netherlands. This international event brings together the world’s strongest chess players and attracts the attention of chess fans every year. Two Uzbek chess players — Javokhir Sindarov and Nodirbek Abdusattorov — will also take part in the tournament.
