That is, in Flick's opinion, this is not about minor details - it is about important decisions that could change the whole scenario.
The biggest controversy revolved around the disallowed goal by Pau Kubarsi. Flick called this episode "the most incomprehensible moment of the game." According to him, the decision was delayed for a very long time - almost 7 minutes. But even after all this time, Barcelona has not been given any explanation.
Flick firmly stated that he does not consider the situation when the goal was disallowed to be offside. He called the episode "shameful" and even used the harsh phrase "this is a tragedy." The most difficult point - according to the coach, the decision was made, but there was no communication, no explanation, no way to understand the reason.
Of course, it is not right to blame a big score like 0:4 only on the referee - there are also hard lessons for the team itself. But one thing was very clear from Flick's words: he was more hurt by the sense of justice being violated than by the defeat.
Now the most important task for Barcelona is to control emotions and draw the right conclusion from this difficult night. Because big clubs are strong not with "noise", but with giving a response on the field. And the fans expect one thing: that the team does not break after this heavy blow, but rather, that they become even more united and show real character in the next games.
