Uzbekistan's veteran judokas became champions in Warsaw

The prestigious "Warsaw Veteran European Cup 2026" tournament took place in the Polish capital, Warsaw, among veteran athletes. Nearly 200 experienced judokas from 28 countries participated in this competition, testing their strength against each other.
Notably, the Uzbekistan national team achieved high results in this competition. All four representatives from our national team defeated their rivals in their respective weight and age categories, ascending to the championship podium.
Specifically, Timur Khudaykulov (-73 kg), Bahrom Inoyatov (-81 kg), Yerbol Rustamov (+100 kg), and Hamid Atajanov won gold medals in their categories. Each of them demonstrated confident and superior grappling throughout the competition, leaving no chance for their opponents.
As a result of this success, the Uzbekistan national team secured a place among the top five teams in the overall standings. This once again proved that the national judo school is at a high level even among veterans.
