"Paris FC" prepares a huge offer to "Marseille" for Greenwood

The French club "Paris FC" intends to take a serious step towards signing "Marseille" forward Mason Greenwood. The capital's second team, financed by the Arnault family and the Red Bull group, is ready to spend a large amount on the English footballer. It is expected that, if this transfer goes through, a record offer will be made to break "Marseille's" resistance. Goal.com reports.

The 24-year-old forward has attracted everyone's attention with his brilliant performances in Ligue 1. The "Paris FC" leadership plans to build a new project specifically around Greenwood. The club intends to offer him a contract and large bonuses at the level of the highest-paid stars of "PSG".

"Manchester United" may benefit most from this deal. When Greenwood moved to "Marseille" in 2024, the English club retained the right to 60 per cent of his subsequent sale. If "Marseille" qualify for the Champions League, this figure rises to 65 per cent. This means tens of millions of pounds will flow into "Old Trafford".

Currently, the "Marseille" leadership considers the initial offers insufficient. However, the financial might of the Arnault family and the sporting project led by Antoine Combouaré may convince Greenwood to move to Paris. The club has already signed experienced players such as Ciro Immobile and sees Greenwood as the team's main star.
