Google has officially added the option to move the address bar to the bottom of the screen in Chrome for Android, 4pda.to reported.
This long-awaited feature comes with version 135. To activate it, long-press the address bar and select the bottom option — or go to Settings > Address Bar. A new fullscreen mode and refreshed settings UI were also added.
Google originally tested a bottom address bar in 2016, but later removed it. Chrome on iOS has had this option since 2023.
