Samsung to bring AI shopping to lock screens

In 2025, Samsung will introduce AI-powered shopping directly on the lock screens of Galaxy phones, reports Rozetked. Developed in partnership with Indian tech firm Glance, the feature—called Glance AI—will be available on Galaxy S22, S23, S24, and S25 devices.

Glance AI analyzes user selfies to generate AI-based outfit suggestions, which can be purchased with a single tap. The feature is optional, and biometric data is stored for up to 12 months or until the account is deleted.

The system integrates with online shopping platforms and suggests products based on the user’s style preferences. Samsung emphasizes user privacy: data is encrypted and controlled entirely by the user.

Glance, founded in 2019, is part of the InMobi Group and specializes in AI-powered content and advertising for smartphone lock screens. A similar feature with virtual clothing try-ons was recently demonstrated by Google at I/O 2025. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
