In recent years, artificial intelligence has become one of the most advanced and important fields worldwide. In Uzbekistan too, achievements and experience in this area are increasing, and new specialists are entering the arena. In this regard, the “Yuksalish” movement and the Central Asia Artificial Intelligence Association (AICA) compiled the list of the “TOP-30 artificial intelligence leaders,” consisting of leading individuals contributing to the development of AI in the country.
According to the organizers, the main goal is to recognize specialists working in this field, to present their scientific and practical achievements to the general public, and to create a source of inspiration for the younger generation.
The list was compiled in alphabetical order and included entrepreneurs, scientists, startup founders, and representatives of state organizations. Among them are Akmal Payziev, founder of “Numeo.AI,” Anvar Nazarullaev, head of the “Mohirdev” platform, Bakhtiyor Khasanov, founder of the “UzbekVoiceAI” startup, as well as Dilnoz Mukhamadieva, professor at TIIKHMMI and Doctor of Technical Sciences. In addition, Ruslan Salakhutdinov, Vice President of AI Research at Meta, was also included in the list.
At the same time, the candidates included in the list were selected through a two-stage competition. At the first stage, the “Yuksalish” team and AICA, based on open sources — media, scientific journals, websites, social networks — and on the recommendations of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, selected more than 50 candidates.
At the second stage, the evaluation was carried out with the participation of 1,380 AICA residents. Each candidate was assessed according to 8 main criteria: impact of implemented projects, international cooperation, ability to attract investment, participation in the national strategy, proposals for new approaches and ideas, scientific-public presentations, contribution to education and enlightenment in the field of AI, and national and international recognition.
According to the information released by the “Yuksalish” movement, the list includes not only practicing specialists but also those engaged in theory and scientific research in the field of AI. For example, Bunyodbek Ibragimov is conducting scientific research on artificial intelligence and computer sciences at the international level, while Professor Dilnoz Mukhamadieva has been specially noted as the author of more than 20 scientific works and projects dedicated to the application of AI in medicine, agriculture, and other fields.
Experts emphasize that this list serves not only as a new incentive for the development of the industry but also as a source of inspiration for young people working in AI in Uzbekistan. Its creation will also further strengthen the country’s participation in global digital processes.
