The era of Google Translate working on any headset has begun

Google has taken its “Translator” service to an even more advanced level: now the real-time speech translation feature works on any wireless headphones. In this regard, Apple has limited capability — this feature is available only on three models of AirPods.
The new translator is based on the Gemini neural network and supports more than 70 languages, including the Uzbek language. Most interestingly, the system also preserves the tone and intonation of the conversation — the translation sounds lively and natural.
The feature is currently being tested in the USA, India, and Mexico on the Android system. According to the company, starting from 2026 it will be launched widely on all Android devices.
