Fake processors detected in CHUWI laptops

A major scandal has erupted in the tech world. The reputable German portal Notebookcheck has uncovered a misleading situation regarding CHUWI's CoreBook X laptops. It turns out the manufacturer installed an old model from five years ago instead of the advertised modern Ryzen 5 7430U processor. Reports wylsa.com.
When experts opened the laptop casing, they discovered it contained a Ryzen 5 5500U chip, released in 2021. Most interestingly, the company used deception at the software level as well. In the BIOS and Windows Task Manager, the processor name is intentionally displayed as Ryzen 5 7430U, making it nearly impossible for an average buyer to detect the fraud.

When asked for comment on the matter, CHUWI representatives refused to admit fault. The company labeled it a logistics error, claiming that reviewers received a laptop from an old batch. However, the intentionally altered software data suggests that this excuse is far from the truth.
