Minisforum introduces new HDD-less All-Flash S5 and S7 network storage devices

Minisforum has unveiled its new All-Flash S5 and All-Flash S7 network attached storage (NAS) devices in the Chinese market. The key feature of these devices is that they do not support traditional HDDs and are designed exclusively for M.2 SSDs. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
The smaller All-Flash S5 model has space for five SSDs, while the larger S7 model allows for seven. The S5 model runs on the Intel Core Series 3 (Wildcat Lake) platform. One of the most notable aspects of the device is its completely silent operation due to a passive cooling system.
Technically, the devices are equipped with 16 GB of LPDDR5X-7200 RAM, a Wi-Fi 7 module, 10GbE and 2.5GbE RJ45 ports, two USB4 (40 Gbps) and HDMI 2.1 interfaces. The All-Flash S7 model additionally features two 10G SFP+ ports.
Minisforum has not yet provided official information regarding the pricing and release date of these new devices.
