The social network Threads has begun testing a new Meta AI integration similar to the Grok system on the X platform. Now, users with public accounts can tag Meta AI in posts or comments to get additional information on a specific topic. This is reported by Techcrunch.com reports .
Currently, this feature is in beta testing in Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Argentina, and Singapore. Meta states that the innovation allows users to receive real-time information on trending events and news, as well as ask for recommendations.
Users can tag the @meta.ai account to ask various questions, and the artificial intelligence will respond in the language the post was written in. Through this, Threads aims to become not just a communication space, but a hub for information and recommendations.
As with the Grok system, safety issues for this feature are of great importance. Meta has also provided the ability to restrict or hide artificial intelligence responses. The company plans to study initial feedback and further improve the feature.
