Poppy: A new AI assistant to organize your digital life

Smartphones can hinder focus due to numerous apps and constant notifications. A new app called Poppy aims to eliminate this clutter by consolidating calendars, emails, messages, and other sources into a single dashboard. As the company states, Poppy tracks all important information for you. This is reported by Techcrunch.com reports .

The app uses AI to analyze user data such as email, calendar, and location to determine what is important at any given moment. For example, if you have free time on your calendar and are near a park, Poppy might suggest a walk. It also recommends restaurants for planning meetings with friends, taking their tastes and preferences into account.

Poppy works like a personal assistant: it tracks flights, alerts you to schedule changes, or reminds you when it is time to take medication. The app's founder, Sai Kambampati, aims to take human-computer interaction to a new level. According to him, modern AI technologies allow computers to anticipate user needs.

Currently, Poppy is integrated with popular services such as Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Gmail, Outlook, iCloud Mail, Apple Health, iMessage, and WhatsApp. It also works with Uber and Instacart apps. To ensure privacy, user data is encrypted, and a no-data-retention policy is applied when using cloud LLM models.
