NASA is investigating the New Glenn rocket accident by Blue Origin

NASA head Jared Isaacman responded to the accident at the Blue Origin site at Cape Canaveral, stating that the agency will conduct a thorough investigation into the anomaly and assess the impact of the explosion on future missions. NASA is aware of the incident involving Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket at Launch Complex 36 at Cape Canaveral. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
"Spaceflight is a brutal industry, and developing new heavy-lift launch vehicle capabilities is an incredibly complex task. We will work with our partners to thoroughly investigate this anomaly, assess its impact on near-term missions, and resume flights," the agency said in a statement.
As a reminder, a powerful explosion occurred during a static fire test of the first stage of Blue Origin's heavy-lift New Glenn rocket. The NG-4 mission rocket, intended to launch Amazon Kuiper satellites, was completely destroyed.
The company founded by Jeff Bezos is one of the leading commercial partners in NASA's Artemis program and the future lunar base project. This explosion could lead to changes in the schedules for delivering cargo and modules for the Gateway lunar station, as well as lunar landing timelines.
