How many Uzbeks received new pensions in January?

Uzbekistan’s Pension Fund has released data on the number of citizens who received new pensions in January 2025.

As of February 1, a total of 26,365 citizens were granted new pensions.

Breakdown of pension recipients:
Age-based pension – 19,998 people;
Disability pension – 4,558 people;
Survivor’s pension – 1,809 families.

Additionally, starting from March 1, Uzbekistan will change its pension allocation process. From now on, pensions for those reaching retirement age will be assigned automatically, without requiring any documents or applications.

Furthermore, citizens who wish to continue working or disagree with the pension amount will have the right to opt out of automatic pension assignment. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
