Prosecutor reveals cause of deadly mosque blast

The explosion at the "Ahmadali Khoja" mosque in the Izboskan district of Andijan region was caused by a gas leak and short circuit, kursiv.media reported, citing the regional prosecutor's office.

According to officials, the gas leaked from pipes connected to heating equipment in the mosque’s basement. When electricity was turned on, a short circuit occurred.
