Tashkent residents to face 5-day power outages
From April 17 to 21, some areas in Almazar and Yunusabad districts of Tashkent will experience temporary power outages, reports Nova24.uz.

According to the RESS press service, the disruptions are due to planned maintenance work to modernize high-voltage transmission lines L-DOK-1 and L-DOK-2 (110 kV), which connect Tashkent CHP to the 110/6 kV “DOK” substation. Power may be cut daily from 08:00 to 18:00.

In Almazar district, affected areas include: • Family clinic No. 21, psychiatric hospital, deaf society, schools No. 16 and 315, kindergartens No. 4, 20, 39
• Mahallas: Axil, Elpavar, Ibrohim ota, Gulzor, Qorasaroy, Oltinsoy, Moyarik, Miskin
• Businesses: Muharram Trede, Medex Textile, Zelal Textile, New Castle, Osiyo Batareya, Akfa Building Materials, etc.

In Yunusabad district: • Family clinic No. 52, sewage pump station, schools No. 52 and 86, kindergarten No. 502
• Mahallas: Astarobod, Turkiston, Ming Chinor, Nurmakon, Sobirobod, Hamkorobod, Katta Hasanboy, Registon, Uch Qahramon
• Businesses: Jahongir Servis, Toshkent Metro Qurilish, Sanico Group, Maxsustrans, etc.

It was previously reported that Uzbekistan plans to implement annual electricity price indexation based on inflation rates.
