Uzbekistan counts 278,300 horses
The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics has released data on the number of horses and their distribution across the country's regions, reported UPL.UZ.

As of April 1, 2025, the highest number of horses was recorded in Tashkent region with 55,200 heads. Qashqadaryo region follows with 37,000 horses, and Jizzakh region ranks third with 32,500. The lowest numbers are noted in Namangan, Andijan, and Khorezm regions.

Overall, the horse population in the country increased by 2.2% compared to the previous year, reaching 278,300 heads.
