
Uzbekistan will open an international boarding school named after Al-Biruni, Nova24.uz reports citing the Ministry of Justice.
The school is set to begin operating in the 2025/2026 academic year. Graduates will receive an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma along with a national certificate, allowing entry to top global universities.
An individual learning model will be introduced, with a student-to-consultant ratio of 15:1 and a teacher-to-student ratio of 8:1.
According to the decree:
• The curriculum will be based on flexible learning plans. In addition to English, students will study at least one more foreign language.
• The school will accept up to 180 students funded by the state budget.
• Students will receive support in building a personal portfolio for scientific research, startup innovations, and social projects. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
